ジャケットの恰幅の良い姿に一瞬困惑してしまいますが、言うまでも無く、80年代に人気を博した３人組シャラマーの名ボーカリスト、ハワード・ヒュウエットのクリスマスアルバム。シャラマーが並みのディスコ・グループと一線を画していた理由のひとつが彼のボーカルで、歳を重ねるごとに円熟味を増してますます輝くそのシルキーでスムーズな歌声は、クリスマスの夜に最高に相応しい。スタンダードナンバーのアレンジも洒落ています。ソウルフルでジャジー、アダルトでロマンチックな素晴らしいクリスマスアルバムです。スティービー・ワンダーがハーモニカソロで参加、そのほかジョージ・デュークやEW&Fのクレジットも。
