中止とされていた続編の発売が決定したようです。
ＢＯＸ２は６月、ＢＯＸ３は１０月発売という情報が入りました。
良かった、待ってて良かった。

The Best Judo Saga Over the Last 40 Years
I watched this from our local TV when I was still a child but could not forget about this as the entire series picked on the learning path of a judo boy from scratch to the top. His committment towards Judo was more than a hobby. Judo to Ichio was his life, his blood. His loyalty to his teacher, (sansei?) was undoubtedly true. Although I don't speak Japanese but I can feel all that the saga wanted to convey. I look forward to the Volume Two of this and I almost lose my patience after finished watching the first 31 chapters in a few nights time. When will the Volume Two and Three be released???? It's pain and very agonising to long for it without a release schedule?! This is the Best of all from this category.

日曜７時のタケダアワー
実写特撮物として、当時としては斬新でかなり話題になっていたのを覚えていますがドラマも秀逸。
昭和の父親の原型を「車秀作｣に感じます。厳しい中にも愛情があり、突っぱねながらも試合の時には観客の後ろの方で必ず見守っている姿に胸うたれます。
BOX１では、鮫島、赤月、大剛寺、ジュードー・サタンなどが敵役として登場。
続編が期待されます。
