かなわぬ夢だけど、生で聴きたい！
表題どおりマーチが2曲入ってスペクタキュルな演奏を展開する「マントヴァーニ・スペクタキュラー」は、おそらく初のＣＤ化だと思います。前述のマーチや「ポルカ雷鳴と電光」などブラスの響きが堪りません。「アメリカン・シーン」の前半のフォスターの作品や後半の民謡等の名曲も心が洗われる思いで聴き入ってしまいました。絶対お薦めです。

なかなか珍しい懐かしい曲ばかりです。珍しい物としてはmantovaniのBy the Sleepy Lagoonの録音があります。
　聴く価値のある１枚でしょう。
