クールだが熱さを演出できる、ブルースギターの王者
これがバディ・ガイなのだろう…。ギターテクニシャンである彼が見事な計算の元に、重厚でしかし軽妙なブルースを構築している。2曲目のMidnight Trainではジョニーラングが参加、この曲も素晴らしい。マディ・ウォーターズに傾注してシカゴに流れ着いたバディ、このアルバムはその影響を感じ取ることができるアルバムでもある。バディ・ガイを聴いたことがない方に、ぜひとも入門用に聴いていただきたいアルバムである。損をすることはないだろう
