聞くに堪えない音楽1
もって回った言い回しで内容のないことをしゃべりまくるような音楽である。
リヒテルのピアノはうつ病気味なのに、クライバーの伴奏は躁状態だ。
統合失調症のような演奏に閉口せざるを得ない。
余白に収録されているシューベルト作品も、これといって聴くほどのものではない。

Warm & Glowing Performances!5
Richter plays Dvorak Piano Concerto with warm affection and admirable technical polish. The way he captures the rapt serenity of the slow movement is simply magical. The outer movements glow with poetic beauty and rich tonal colours.

Wanderer-Fantasy, played with penetrating tone and uncompromising technical refinement, receives Lisztian rendition; not a hint of sentimentalism, but radiant with transcendental beauty.

Relatively good stereo recordings, beautifully remastered.
