あのプレースリーもカバーしている5
Arthur"Big Boy"Crudup のこのアルバムは、これこそブルースと言える程の名盤です。１人弾き語りのため大変地味です。しかし、１曲目はプレスリーのデビュー曲の That't All Right(Mama) はこの人の曲ですし他にも２曲目の Rock Me Mama は B.B.King のカバーで有名。７曲目の Mean Old Frisco や 11曲目の If Get Lucky 等は、ブルースの名曲と言われ多数のブルース・マンにカバーされています。４１年にデビューし５２年までに３０枚以上のＳＰ盤を出しています。
